My very first District Convention was in 2012. It was all very exciting and overwhelming for little freshman Ann at the time, but fast-forward to 2016 and I already knew what to expect and bring on for the weekend. I really enjoyed this year because I was able to spend my last moments in Circle K with friends very dear and special to me, and also reunite with my past fellow District Board members.

It was also great seeing new members enjoying their first experience and watching CSUF board members cry during awards night! I hosted a workshop with April Rios about studying abroad, something we are both very passionate about as well. However, the two biggest moments of happiness from my last DCON were watching our very own Jesus Pelayo getting elected as Magic Kingdom Lieutenant Governor and seeing President-elect Karl Yabes and VP of Admin-elect Alicia Lam in House of Delegates.

Although I am graduating and will be joining the alumni world, I know CSUF Circle K and the Magic Kingdom Division will be in good hands. Thank you District Convention 2016 for a great last experience!
