John Ly

3rd year Computer Science Major

On the 2015 - 2016: "Serving as the club's treasurer, I really enjoyed educating members about DFIs and providing them opportunities to grow as leaders."

Fundraising

To execute multiple fundraising events in order to support the club. Promote the education of DFI's in order to fundraise efficiently for them.

2nd year Health Science Major

On the 2015 - 2016 term: "My favorite part of the term are all the service events. Most of us grew up with luxuries that we take for granted and there's a lot of people out there that would do anything just to ensure a meal for the day. I saw that this year and it showed that we can all change our communities with just a bit of service."

Single Service

I create a service project from scratch, with the help of my board and club members, that will cater to the DSI this year, which is serve to conserve.

On the 2015 - 2016 term: "Being able to perform our campfire skit in front of everyone at Fall Training Conference, was one experience that I will never forget."

As historian I take pictures at our events along with putting together the scrapbook to present at DCON. I'm also in charge of decorations and crafts.

On the 2015 - 2016 term: "I transferred to Cal State Fullerton from Santa Ana College last spring so my favorite part of this term was getting to know my new family at CSUF CKI"

Public Relations

The Public Relations Chair is in charge of creating newsletters that comply with the International Graphic Standards, maintaining and updating club social media sites (like Instagram), and promoting the club to the community.

On the 2015 - 2016 term: "I loved being able to enjoy service events and fellowship events as a general member. I really got to take everything in without having to worry about planning something or recording something. I loved the freedom of being a general member!"

My position entails working with the Interclub Council, service organizations on our campus, and other Circle K clubs around our division.

Spirit Social Co-Chair

My job as Spirit/Social Chair is to showcase Cal State Fullerton's Circle K SPIRIT to the district, but most importantly, to ensure that each and every member are comfortable to SOCIALize with one other so that the club can achieve unity.

On the 2015 - 2016 term: "There are so many memories to choose from, but the most significant memories that I will continue to cherish are the one I've made being Judy's little. Serving as the Co-Spirit/Social chair of CSUF, I plan to encourage members to be spirited and attend fun socials that will introduce them to many people.
