Family.
I stayed in Circle K because not only did I meet my second family but I was able to watch people learn more about themselves as they learn to love Circle K. (Judy T. Nguyen, 5th year)
Giving Back.
I stayed in CKI because after realizing how much this organization has given to me, I wanted to continue giving back to those who have nothing at all. And doing community service allows me to do just that... plus doing it with individuals who are just as passionate about it is a plus. (Alina Barrera, 4th year)
Friends.
I think the reason I stayed in CKI is because I got the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy my time with them. CKI not only allows you to do service, but allows you to do service with other people who love it too! (Whitney Tang, 4th year)
Growth.
I stayed in Circle K to remain close to the friends I've made and I knew that this organization would help me grow into a better leader and person overall. (Andy Nguyen, 3rd year)
We join for the service, stay for the fellowship, and grow as leaders. I remember the veteran members (now alumnis) that were around. They took care of the young bloods including myself, and guided us towards the path of the CKI experience. Since they’re gone now, it’s our turn to guide all the new members to having the same CKI experience that we went through. And I believe that is something worth staying for. (Danny Nguyen, 3rd year)
My parents continue to not see the benefits of CKI despite the accomplishments I've made in the organization and in my career. I stay to learn more valuable skills, and by helping to build our future leaders, I encourage others that their time in CKI will be life-changing. (Jennifer Que, 5th year)
